How do I import a picture into Photoshop?

Answer:

Click File > Open, and just open the image.

Alternatively, you can just drag the picture file into the Photoshop window from somewhere else.

Once the picture is inside Photoshop, you can use the Move Tool to drag it into another image, if you need to.
