web button tutorial

i have followed your web button tutorial.. and when i go to overlay the clouds it overlays the whole canvas...... I have managed to create the button once before :D but once i have crated it how do i merge the button , text , and clouds all toghter .... ( i tried merging linked and the clouds apperaed all over the canvass) plz help , thanks
