O.k... I have two images I'm trying to put together for the cover of a record on my record label. One picture is of a gun, the other is the name of the band, not in a text font style, but artwork.. and image. Anyways, the gun is black with a white background, and the name of the band is black with a white background. I want to put the name over the gun, but when I copy and paste it in, there's a white block behind the name of the band that covers up part of the gun. How do I seperate the white from the black in the band-name image so I just just paste the black part over the gun? Thanks a lot. I'm using 7.0, but I don't know a lot about photoshop, so please be specific.. thanks!
