Hi Michelle :) Yes, GoLive is a web page editor. I use FrontPage, so I don't know anything about GoLive (actually I do, I know that it is in fact a web editor :) In Photoshop, flattening the image, and cutting it up into bits (usually by Cropping, Saving, then Undoing) will produce the same images as using the Slice Tool. It's just the hard way. That's what I used to do when there was no alternative (e.g. in Photoshop 5.0 and 5.5.) If you use the Slice Tool however, it creates tables, and organises everything into an HTML page for you, so you can edit it in a web editor (such as GoLive). It will save all the blank areas as images, but you can just delete them very easily in GoLive, and put your own text in. I just get rid of the HTML page, and make my own HTML page, but it's up to you :) I'd be happy to have a look at your site when it's done. Good luck :P
