Hi Lew. You make slivers endless simply by setting them as the background of the cell or table. Any image set as a back ground will repeat itself until it fills up the whole area. The size of the sliver area isn't related to your text. To make the slivers stop at a certain point, you just need to define the size of the cell or table that the sliver is in.
