I just want to put my two cents in about software licensing since I have first hand experience. I worked for a small (40 employee) software company that used Microsoft and Adobe products. An employee got fired and decided to blow the whistle. $2.5 Million dollars in fines later, the company filed bancruptcy and is no longer in business. Take the licensing thing as seriously as you want but it only takes one person to ruin everything.
