If you look at this site I created www.gladstonehotel.com.au, the links are in a cell of their own (1 for each image). Setting a height limit for the button, then affects the content cell to the right, because theoretically, they are in the same row and usually involves merging cells to make a larger space for content. Now if the content area gets too big in that table, it spreads out all the buttons to the left making each page inconsistent in navigation layout due to the varying content areas. The only way to overcome this is to have a small amount of content in that top cell and add anything else to another table below it as I have done. This is poor design especially when content needs to change. How do I get around this a little more professionally? Ange
