How do I give text an outline in Adobe Photoshop?

Answer:

Right-click the text layer, in the Layers window. Then click Blending Options. In the Blending Options window, choose Stroke. Choose a Size for the Stroke (your outline), and click the little coloured box, to choose a colour for the outline. Then press OK.
